Vladimir Mau awards professional development certificates to civil servants of Kyrgyzstan
During President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Kyrgyzstan, Rector of the Presidential Academy Vladimir Mau awarded certificates to the graduates of RANEPA advanced training program at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kyrgyzstan.
The program, Creating a Favorable Investment Climate and Attracting Investment is a part of the general academic strategy for implementing the concept of the CIS Network Academy of Public Administration within the framework of the Base Organization of the CIS countries on training personnel for public administration. The 48-hour program was attended by 39 people including civil servants and professors of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kyrgyzstan.
The RANEPA Rector also held a working meeting with Director of the State Personnel Service of Kyrgyzstan Akram Madumarov to discuss with him prospects for cooperation in the training of state and municipal employees of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as possible formats for further cooperation.
Vladimir Mau took part in the first Forum of Rectors of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation on “Development of Science and Education – Investment in the Future.” He spoke at the plenary session, where they discussed the creation of a common educational space and its role as a resource for Eurasian integration. The forum also addressed issues related to the two countries’ cooperation in the development of higher education and personnel training in the context of the modernization of the economy.
President of Russia Vladimir Putin, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a state visit, attended the signing ceremony between Vladimir Mau and Rector of the Kyrgyz Academy of Public Administration Almazbek Akmataliyev for a memorandum of understanding and cooperation between the two academies aimed at enhancing cooperation in the development of joint educational programs for civil servants, the introduction of distance learning tools, the development of student and teacher mobility, organizing joint conferences and seminars, publishing joint textbooks and other educational projects.
During the trip, the Rector took part in the plenary meeting of the Eighth Russia-Kyrgyzstan Interregional Conference, New Horizons for Strategic Partnership and Integration, which was attended by the Presidents of Russia and Kyrgyzstan. The conference focused on issues of trade and economic cooperation, industrial cooperation, the development of agriculture, the transport and logistics complex of the two countries and mechanisms for investment and financial cooperation.
