VTB, RANEPA sign cooperation agreement
Bank VTB and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) have signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by President and Chairman of VTB Bank Management Board Andrey Kostin and RANEPA Rector Vladimir Mau.
Under the agreement, the partners plan to develop, promote and implement modern digital and management technologies in the banking sector, including management of digital product development, flexible software development and management of the agile transformation in the financial sector. VTB and RANEPA will jointly develop and launch full-time and distance learning programs. Internships for RANEPA students at VTB Bank are also planned, as well as VTB employees’ training in professional development programs at RANEPA. In addition, VTB Bank will provide expert support for the Academy students’ initiatives and entrepreneurial activity involving modern financial technologies. Cooperation plans between VTB Bank and RANEPA also include career guidance events for schoolchildren and students.
RANEPA Rector Vladimir Mau noted: “Cooperation with VTB Bank envisages a wide range of joint initiatives. We are interested in joint development of new programs, in having VTB specialists involved in our hackathons, in programs to support promising business ideas, start-ups and the best students.”
“VTB’s job will be to create a technological environment where students will be able to obtain the most up-to-date knowledge and skills in the most efficient format. Such competencies will later enjoy demand in the labor market,” Andrey Kostin said. “VTB has one of the best teams of IT professionals who lead the digital transformation at the bank. I am sure that the combined expertise of specialists who actually introduce real-life advanced technologies at the bank with their colleagues from RANEPA who teach modern management methods, will deliver some highly significant synergies.”
