Andrey Margolin, Vice-Rector of the Presidential Academy, held a working meeting with Nguyen Hieu, Acting Rector of Vietnam National University, who arrived in Moscow as part of the delegation of Pham Minh Tinh, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
In 2026, the Presidential Academy's Government School of Public Management will conduct training for Vietnamese civil servants at VNU under the «Digital Transformation of the Public Administration System» program. A number of student mobility initiatives will also be implemented.
«We highly value our existing cooperation and look forward to its further strengthening. The implementation of joint educational programs and the training of management personnel remain our key priorities»,- noted Andrey Margolin.
As a reminder, 2026 has been declared the Year of Scientific and Educational Cooperation between Russia and Vietnam. In this regard, the Presidential Academy, represented by the Institute of Management, and VNU, represented by the Institute of Natural Sciences, have begun processing an application to conduct joint research in the field of renewable energy sources under grants from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Furthermore, work continues on the creation of a joint master's program in «Regional Development Management» which will include among other things visiting modules in Russian regions for the exchange of experience.
At the end of the visit, the Vietnamese delegation visited the classroom named after Comrade To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Honorary Professor of the Presidential Academy.
