Vietnamese delegation visits St. Petersburg

On October 20, the Presidential Academy launched a Professional Development Program for trainees from the Ho Chi Minh Political Academy.

The year 2025, a milestone year for Russian-Vietnamese relations, was particularly rich in joint educational projects. "The Presidential Academy and the Ho Chi Minh Political Academy are strengthening their partnership by developing exchanges of experience and joint training programs for civil servants," noted Rector Alexey Komissarov.

The program included a series of lectures by leading experts from the Presidential Academy's Graduate School of Public Management, business and educational events in Moscow, and a cultural and educational trip to St. Petersburg. In St. Petersburg, the Vietnamese delegation visited the North-West Institute of Management, a branch of the Presidential Academy, and the Ho Chi Minh Institute at St. Petersburg State University. The students learned about the main areas of work of these institutions and praised their contribution to the training of specialists and the study of Vietnamese history and culture.

In addition to the program, participants were able to explore the city's rich cultural heritage: they visited the State Hermitage Museum, where they received a lecture from museum director Mikhail Borisovich Piotrovsky, and the Peterhof State Museum-Reserve.

A certificate presentation ceremony concluded the program. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Russia Mr. Dang Minh Khoi attended the event.
