Research Activities at the UNESCO Chair of the Presidential Academy (RANEPA): Results of the Academic Year

At the Chair’s meeting of June 3d preliminary results of the current year’s research activities and issues of preparations for postgraduate students’ competency tests and defense of Master thesis were discussed, that will be held in June.

The central event of scientific research activities has been participation in preparations and holding of the workshops “Public administration and Russia’s development: values, challenges and priorities” and “Philosophic and cultural concept of Eurasianism as the basis of Russia’s social and political unity” in the course of International scientific Conference session hosted by RANePA’s Public Service and Management Institute (May 27-29, 2026)

Over two hundred specialists, postgraduate students and students attended the Conference sessions. State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Zh. Alekseeva made a welcoming address at the opening ceremony, making a speech afterwards: “On measures to set the scene for developing creative skills and teaching professional knowledge in creative industries domain.”

Contributing their reports to the Conference were:

  • Zh. Alekseeva “On measures to set the scene for developing creative skills and teaching professional knowledge in creative industries domain;”

  • O.Astafieva “Intercultural communication architecture under transit conditions towards new world order” – Director of “Theory and practice of management in the field of culture, education and research” Scientific and Educational Center (SEC);

  • S.Bondarenko “Russian-Chinese cultural vector: attraction factors” – Head of Department on international projects support with the Moscow Government Ministry of external economic and international ties;

  • V.Egorov “Cultural policy in the context of communication domain transformations” – Head of the RANePA’s UNESCO Chair.

  • A.Margolin “Eurasionism as factor of CIS states’ consolidation” – Vice-rector of the Presidential Academy;

  • O.Neretin “Innovative thinking and intellectual property in digital transformation models” – Director of the “Federal Institute of industrial property”.

At the close of the Conference sessions Master certificates were awarded to graduates of the two study groups that have completed training in programs for specialists in the field of managing culture and education.

Deliberations are planned on issues of the UNESCO Chair’s international cooperation in the course of the next meeting in July 2026.
